TREASURE ISLAND ELECTIONS: 2012
When: March 13, 2012
Where: Treasure Island Community Center, 7am to 7pm
2012 is a year in which voters city-wide would elect a mayor. However, Mayor Bob Minning is unopposed this year, so there is no mayoral election. Mayor Minning will be sworn in for a second three-year term on March 20, 2012.
Voters in Districts 2 and 4 normally elect a commissioner in even-numbered years, and in 2012, there are two candidates running for District 2 commissioner and three candidates running for District 4 commissioner.
Therefore, only voters in District 2 and District 4 will be going to the polls on March 13, 2012.
There are no ballot questions this year.
THE CANDIDATES
DISTRICT 2 COMMISSIONER
Gail Caldwell and Irving "Butch" Ellsworth
DISTRICT 4 COMMISSIONER
Alan Bildz, Fred Kelsey and Bob Weber
