SATURDAY

Steve Arvey Horn Band

Steve Arvey
is the superb electric blues guitarist from Chicago, a delight to listen to and to watch. Some musicians have a practiced charisma, but Steve’s is natural. He’s a fun character, almost flirting with the audience. Arvey and the band are fluidly funky, rolling from Steve’s own pieces to blues classics.
7PM SATURDAY NIGHT

Have Gun, Will Travel

Buzz-worthy doesn't even begin to describe Bradenton's Have Gun, Will Travel. Since the
2008 release of their debut full-length album, Casting Shadows Tall As Giants, the band garnered praise from national media outlets such as National Public Radio. HGWT's freshly minted Mergers & Acquisitions ranks with anything on the national Americana charts. Its gorgeous acoustic guitar-based melodies and a taut rhythm section that occasionally operates in subdued rock mode propels the songs. In fact, if anything, this album proves that HGWT are aware of what their sound is, and are ready to play around with it. "Mergers" runs a gamut of situations and themes that have been in Matt Burke's head that past couple of years. Between the exercises in storytelling like "Katharine, Don't Fall The Wagon" and "Crooked Chords" this strong bevy of songs on Mergers And Acquisitions proves that the band is expanding on what we have come to know and love about their music.
5:15 SATURDAY EVENING

Sunza Beaches
Fans of this great little musical outfit shout out the titles of their favorite "Sunza Songs" and sing along in their outdoor voices. Great lyrics that stick with you and instantly memorable hooks are the hallmarks of singer/guitarist Scott Jogwick's songs Sunza Beaches' sunny outlook matches the uptempo fun the band delivers onstage.
3:30 SATURDAY AFTERNOON

Hubb Tones

The HubbTones, a four piece rock band specializing in energetic, danceable and dig-able music with an ever evolving repertoire of covers from the 60's through the present, but with an emphasis on the 70's, the era of their own formative years, appear in the truly delightful Main Room of the Bands on the Sand 4 entertainment complex. Rather than hits, the band focuses on the iconic, covering groups and artists such as Traffic, Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Santana and even Peter Frampton. As always, be sure to don your gowns and cumberbunds and come squander your afternoon on riotous living.
2pm SATURDAY AFTERNOON

Sound Parlor
Sound Parlor is composed of three teens, ages 14 to 16, who have created a unique sound, while reviving Classic Rock roots. Their originals are a blend of jazz and rock. The combination of sounds used by Sound Parlor is reminiscent of the Beatles and the Doors with a little Stevie Wonder thrown in. They mix humor in between songs and have several instrument changes and a variety of music styles.
1pm SATURDAY AFTERNOON

SUNDAY

Cope
With fiery guitar, blistering sax and keys, thumpin’ bass and monster drums winding thru every music genre, Tampa Bay jamband masters Cope deliver a complicated assortment of tunes, dabbling in exploratory funk, melodic pop and spirited jams. They're downright trippy.
7PM SUNDAY NIGHT

Funky Seeds
The Funky Seeds infuse their infectious music with swaying reggae grooves, hip-shaking funk, organ-driven blues rock, and sax-drenched Latin jazz, their sound marked by the gruff and gritty vocal stylings of Steve Scarcliff and the expert keywork of Funky D.
5:15PM SUNDAY EVENING

Human Condition
Fresh from another trip to SXSW in Austin, this Bradenton band has long been a local favorite. This acoustic-leaning group performs songs in the vein of Ben Harper, Led Zeppelin and Radiohead - which is to say they're a diverse lot. Their melodies are too textured and luminous and, well, human, to dismiss as generic.
3:30 SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Sarah Mac Band
Bluesy, jazzy rock with a healthy dose of soul, the Sarah Mac Band is Sarah Mac on lead vocals, guitar, keyboard and any other instrument needed, Claire Swindell on bass and vocals and Charlie Vanture on guitar and vocals, Each of them now call Tallahassee their home. Sarah Mac's voice at times has the full power and grit of Janis Joplin, the sweet, soothing breathy tone of Feist or Edie Brickell, and the gut-wrenching raw tones of an old soul or gospel singer. Paired with Charlie's intricate, sultry guitar and Claire's solid, intriguing bass lines, this trio will leave you wanting to hear more.
2pm SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Jubal's Kin
The distinctively spare sound is grounded in a love for what can only be called the pure and real, at once embracing both a strong roots tradition and fresh indie folk - "Appalachia-infused Cosmic Americana."
As the group continues to tour, the chemistry of their live shows have really become their calling card and, drawn by the honesty of their songs, fans at shows and festivals alike connect to the music - real music - that bares its soul like the brothers and sister on stage. Sometimes adding the lush accompaniment of pedal steel and drums on stage, they'll often tour simply as a trio - deftly pairing subtle folk with all the guts of old-timey flair. .1pm SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Shoeless Soul
Their sound has been described as feel-good pop-fusion, jazzy-reggae jam or more recently “Prozac-Pop”. The bending of genres infused with tasteful jams and catchy chorus lines gives Shoeless Soul a tone that has yet to be replicated. Their camaraderie is undeniable and evident in the playful musical banter and infectious smiles they display on stage. With Rene’s jazzy chords and positive lyrics, Sladjan’s sweet taste for rhythms and Justin ’s masterful bass lines, Shoeless Soul’s music will definitely make you think, feel a sense of wonderment and dance barefoot into the night.
