Common ground for beach dunes
The City Commission recently adopted a beach maintenance area which provides for a no-rake buffer zone around the existing dunes to allow them to respond to natural growth forces. Those areas of the beach away from the dunes will continue to be maintained by TI Public Works in the form of raking and the bi-monthly volunteer beach clean-ups.
