Capri, Palms repaving begins June 13th
The City of Treasure Island Public Works Department is alerting motorists that Capri Boulevard and 112th Avenue will be repaved beginning Wednesday, June 13th. Residents on Treasure Island’s Capri Boulevard and 112th Avenue are asked to not park on those streets beginning Wednesday, June 13th.

Number crunching time
Throughout Pinellas County (and Treasure Island is no exception) the 2008 budget process is underway. Finance directors, city managers, department heads and elected officials fuel up on caffeine-based beverages and hit the books. First Treasure Island City Commission Budget Workshop is Monday, July 9th at 1pm at TI City Hall. 

Clearwater Aquarium monitors TI turtle nests
It's "Lights Out for Turtles" season. If you live along the beach, douse those porch and patio lights - they distract Mama turtle from nesting and disorient her hatchlings. Last season, TI was home to over 20 turtle nests between July and September.
