A Sunset Beach sea oats planting July
14th
Treasure Island is seeking volunteers from the community to
help plant sea oats on Sunset Beach on Saturday, July 14, 2007.
Volunteers should meet at the Sunset Chateau at 8470 West Gulf
Boulevard at 8:30am. Bring a shovel or a spade. You can park at the
Sunset Chateau in the non-reserved spaces at the edge of the parking
lot.
Automated trash collection begins July 16th for Capri &
Palms neighborhoods
Automated refuse collection service begins July 16th for
households in the City of Treasure Island’s Isle of Capri and Isle
of Palms neighborhoods. Residents there can now dispose of household
waste in a city-provided 90-gallon
container.

time
Department heads, the city
manager and elected officials fuel up on caffeine beverages and
hit the books for the third FY2008 budget workshop. Meeting begins
Monday, July 16th at 1pm at TI City Hall.

Hurricane Guides now available
Surviving the Storm,
Pinellas County's official hurricane guide, is now available at
Treasure Island's City Hall, Police and Fire Stations, Treasure Bay
Golf & Tennis, libraries and Pinellas County Wal-Mart locations.
Local associations can pick up multiple copies at city
hall.
