The 2008 Treasure Island
budget It's 129 pages, approximately 4.32MB
and about three-quarters of an inch thick. It's the City of Treasure
Island's bible for the next fiscal year. It's the Treasure Island
2008 Budget and you can enjoy it online or stop by city hall to look
at a copy. The city commission does the final budget public hearing
Wednesday, September 19 beginning at 6pm at TI City
Hall.
Beach
water advisory for Treasure Island The Pinellas
County Health Department has issued an advisory for the water along
Treasure Island beach after tests indicated a slightly elevated
presence of enteric bacteria, which may come from storm-water
runoff, pets, wildlife and sewage. The water could be a potential
health risk to swimmers. Water advisory signs are posted on the
beach.

Island celebrates
Canadian/American Week From
October 5th thru the 11th, Mayor Ted
Salci of Niagara Falls, Ontario will be in Treasure
Island with two high
school bands from his city.While here, the bands will give concerts at local
venues and celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving on October 8th at the
Community Center with TI residents. Tickets are $10 and available at
the TI Chamber Office at 360-4121.
