High-risk structures may lose insurance
discount
Flood insurance
policies for buildings rated as having the lowest floor one foot or
more below the base flood elevation will no longer be eligible for
the Community Rating System discount. The new FEMA policy takes
effect on May 1, 2008. Contact your insurance agent to verify how
your property has been rated and how your premiums may be affected.

Spring into kids tennis and golf
The
City of Treasure Island Recreation Department will offer Golf and
Tennis camps
for juniors, ages 6 years of age and older, at Treasure Bay Golf and
Tennis, 10315 Paradise Boulevard. Both camps are from 9am to 12
noon, March 31 through April 4, 2008. The fees are $20 per day
per child or $90 per week per child, which includes instruction and
snacks. Pre-registration is preferred as camps are limited.
