This TIPD e-alert is sent to notify you of recent Auto Burglaries thatoccurred on Capri Isle late Sunday night (2-22-09) to early Monday morning (2-23-09).

Six unlocked vehicles, parked in private driveways were entered and items stolen.  It is believed that these auto burglaries are related to the numerous auto burglaries reported in Madeira Beach and Indian Shores that occurred the same night and found to be unlocked vehicles.

Residents are encouraged to remove valuables from vehicles.

As a reminder, please write down and secure serial numbers of your personal items such as i-Pods, PDA’s, cell phones, MP3 players, laptops, cameras, televisions, DVD players and bicycles.  If these items are stolen, the chance of recovery is greatly reduced if no serial number is available.
