This includes grass clippings, tree and shrub cuttings, leaves and the like. No component of such shall be longer than three (3) feet and have a diameter or thickness greater than five (5) inches.
More than one hopper load:
The City will pick up the first hopper load and the remainder will be left with an information tag explaining that the remaining yard waste can be picked up for a charge of $5 per hopper load or portion thereof.

ALL PICKUPS for MULTI-FAMILY DWELLINGS must be CALLED IN FIRST to 727-547-4575 ext. 250. The City will pick up the first hopper load of yard waste without charge. Yard waste in excess of the first hopper load will be picked up and the $5 per hopper load charge will be billed to the person or entity listed on the utility bill as the responsible party.
Bagging yard waste:
Leaves and yard clippings shall be placed in yard bags or other suitable containers for disposal and free of material other than yard vegetative matter. Where yard waste is placed in containers with other materials, the yard waste will not be collected and the property owner or tenant will be notified of the situation

How much is a hopper load?

- a pile of yard waste that includes individual pieces no longer than three feet with a total pile dimension of approximately four feet wide by three high by six feet in length
- or approximately two and three quarter cubic yards.
- This is also equivalent to fourteen yard and leaf bags
