Sanding Ovations™ - November 18-21, 2010

Now in its 2nd year, SANDING OVATIONS is Treasure Island's Annual Master Sand Sculpting Competition and Music Festival, a four day competition of eight sand sculpting masters from throughout North America, who create astonishing works of art using nothing but sand, water and lots of their own imagination.

JAZZ BEACH BRUNCH BUFFET
Sunday, November 21 10am to Noon
Cooler, drier November mornings are perfect for a Sunday brunch on the beach. Add a live jazz band and you’ve got the Jazz Beach Brunch Buffet, presented by the City of Treasure Island and Sloppy Joe’s.

Tickets for the Sloppy Joe’s Jazz Beach Brunch Buffet are available at the event or you can get tickets now at the Treasure Island Parks & Recreation Department at Treasure Island City Hall, 120 108th Avenue. Reserve tickets now and charge them on your VISA or MasterCard at 727-547-4575.

Enjoy a sumptuous all-you-can-eat brunch on the beach, in full view of the surf, sand and the big blue Gulf of Mexico skies. The cool, smooth sounds of the 22-piece jazz band “Voices of Jazz” and Treasure Island’s very own celebrity sand sculptors Dan Doubleday and Meredith Corson accompany your Sunday morning brunch.

On the beach brunch menu is tropical fruit salad, eggs Benedict, stuffed French toast, waffles, pancakes, fruit crepes, bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs, with coffee and orange juice, all for just $19.95 per person. Kids under 10 eat for just $9.95.
