SAND SCULPTING SCHEDULE LIVE! FROM THE BEACH! VOTING and AWARDS The City is looking for volunteers to assist with Sanding Ovations beer truck, We need the following number of volunteers for each day. We will assign the times individually when we speak with the individual volunteer. Thursday, November 17 – 8 volunteers between the hours of 10am-5pm Interested volunteers should contact recreation@mytreasureisland.org or at (727)547-4575, ext. 237 With the support of Marsha Pfeffer of Corporate Benefits Network, Inc., Sanding Ovations will be holding a food- drive for individuals in need in our community at this 4 day event, November 17–20, 2011. Please help by bringing non- perishable food to the event. The event showcases 8 of the world’s most talented sand sculptors along with music, food vendors, non-food vendors and fireworks on Saturday night. Now in its 3nd year, SANDING OVATIONS is Treasure Island's Annual Master Cup Professional Sand Sculpting Competition and Music Festival, a four day competition of ten sand sculpting masters from throughout North America and Europe, who create astonishing works of art using nothing but sand, water and lots of their own imagination.
Sanding Ovations is a free event held on the weekend before Thanksgiving at the Sand Sculpture Capital of Florida, Treasure Island.
