The Finance Department is responsible for all fiscal-related activities for City funds including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipting, treasury management, investments, annual financial statements, payroll, and purchasing. Additionally, the Finance Department coordinates the budget process for the City and publishes the City’s annual budget. Additionally, the Finance Department is the frontline staff greeting the public in the front entry of City Hall, providing customer service for general inquiries, issuing business tax receipts, and overseeing the payments for: residential parking permits, facility rentals, event fees, and the variety of programs for residents of all ages offered by the Recreation Department.
Becoming an EFT Vendor
The City's Finance Department is in an ongoing initiative to convert as many of our vendors as possible to receive EFT payment, as opposed to regular checks. This process is not only more efficient and cheaper for the City, but also means vendors can get paid up to a week sooner.
