Jazzercise is the original dance party workout blending dance with Pilates, yoga, kick boxing and strength training. One 55-minute session can burn up to 800 calories with results of long, lean muscles and an undeniable mood boost. Classes are held on Mondays beginning September 8th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the City Hall Auditorium, 120 108th Avenue, Treasure Island. Zumba with Terri on Tuesday mornings starting Nov. 1, 2022 (Last class for season March 31, 2023 - will resume November 2023) at Treasure Island Community Center located at 1 Park Place (behind the Walgreens). Zumba Fitness starts at 9:30 am and the fee is $5.00. Bring your friends and burn some calories while having fun with easy to follow steps. There is no right or wrong, just make it your own. Zumba Gold - Mondays 10:30am-11:30am at the Treasure Island Community Center located at 1 Park Place (behind the Walgreens). Zumba Gold is designed for older active adults, beginners, and those with some physical limitations. This is a low impact, easy-to-follow exercise class. We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low intensity movements for a successful calorie-burning dance fitness party! Zumba® is a Latin inspired program, and you will learn many genres: merengue; salsa; bachata; cha, cha; cumbia; reggaeton, swing, line dance, belly dance, & more! NEW-Knots & Pots Workshop - Join us the First Friday of every month from 6-8pm for our Knots & Pots Workshop! At the Treasure Island Community Center Garden Room 154 106th Avenue. Each month our TI local plant & gift shop, Knotted Roots will be hosting a different DIY activity. Tickets can be purchased in advance through the KR Eventbrite Page . Where are the parks located in Treasure Island?
The Treasure Island park system was designed with the goal that every neighborhood would be within walking distance of a park.
SUNSET BEACH PAVILION
8000 West Gulf Boulevard, Sunset Beach
Beautifully appointed Florida Vernacular architecture, the park lies directly of the Gulf of Mexico and features playground equipment, showers, bathrooms, bicycle rack, vending machines, shaded picnic area and protected dunes. There are metered parking spaces. Great sunset viewing area.
SUNSET VISTA PARK
West Gulf Boulevard & Gulf Boulevard, Sunset Beach
Treasure Island’s newest park, constructed in 2003, features an elevated sunset viewing platform with wide steps to beach. Handicapped accessible, there is an outdoor shower, benches, bike rack, shade areas, protected dunes and environmental information displays.
88th Avenue and West Gulf Boulevard, Sunset Beach
Directly on the beach, metered parking spaces, community bulletin board, picnic tables. Another great spot for sunset watching. Nautical bell attached to a nearby palm tree is rung every day at sunset.
Paradise Boulevard and Dolphin Drive, Paradise Island

112th Avenue and 3rd Street East, Isle of Palms
Playground equipment, shuffleboard courts and open green space.
Capri Circle South and 2nd Street East, Isle of Capri
Home to the John Morroni Memorial Dog Park. Large shady oaks surround the playground and the Bill Lyons Little League Ball Field. There are free tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, a horseshoe pit, a basketball hoop, picnic tables. Bathrooms open for events. Open green space and trail-like sidewalk make this park popular for walking.
Kingfish Drive at John's Pass, Sunshine Beach
Occupies the former location of original John's Pass Bridge, this bridge ramp stub is largely asphalt with landscaping at its edges. Overlooks John's Pass.
TREASURE ISLAND COMMUNITY CENTER PARK
1 Park Place and 106th Avenue
Connected to the downtown business district with landscaped sidewalks, this is Treasure Island’s largest park, home to many annual outdoor events, including the Friday Morning Outdoor Market from December through April. The Community Center is adjacent to the covered pavilion, a popular spot for snowbird music jams. There’s a fitness course, open green space, Veteran’s Memorial and the Causeway Bridge Historical Monument.

Can I place a sign on City property?
"Historically Recognized Groups" of Treasure Island as listed in Resolution 2022-01 and APPROVED local groups may place temporary signs in the City right-of-way when:
- The event is open to the public; and
- There is an approved Temporary Sign Permit (submitted through the Parks & Recreation Department)
Under this policy:
- Signs are only permitted for a total of 72 hours to include the day of the event
- A maximum of seven (7) signs per event are permitted
Any non-permitted signs will be removed by City employees and can be retrieved at City Hall for a fee of $10.00 per sign.
