The Small Business Administration has declared Pinellas County for low-interest loan assistance as a result of Tropical Storm Eta. The types of loans available are business physical disaster loans, economic injury disaster loans, and home disaster loans (loans to homeowners or renters to repair or replace disaster-damaged real estate and personal property, including automobiles). Application deadline for physical damage is March 29, 2021; application deadline for economic injury is October 28, 2021.
In accordance with health precautions for the Coronavirus, the SBA will not establish a field presence to assist survivors. To this end, SBA will open a Virtual Disaster Loan Outreach Center to help survivors apply online using the Electronic Loan Application via SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloanassistance.sba.gov/.
