2023 Election Information

The City of Treasure Island will hold a General Municipal Election on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, for the purpose of electing two City Commission seats: one in District 1 and one in District 3. The election for Districts 1 and 3 are for a full term of two years. The qualifying period begins December 7, 2022, 12 p.m. and ends December 21, 2022, 12 p.m.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a registered voter and resident of Treasure Island
  • Candidates for Commissioner shall be a qualified elector of the district in which they will serve
  • Twenty-Five (25) petition cards together with the required qualifying paperwork and fees
  • Filing Fees:
    • State Election Assessment – 1% of Salary - $54.00 (unless undue burden affidavit is filed)
    • City Qualifying Fee - $50.00
