COVID-19 Vaccine Information

It is strongly encouraged for every employee who can get a COVID vaccine. The city of Treasure Island will provide 16 hours (2 work days) of paid administrative leave if you need time to recover from the vaccine. Additionally, we are offering 8 hours (1 workday) of paid administrative leave as an extra day off. If you would like help to schedule an appointment to get a FREE COVID vaccine, please contact HR or your supervisor. There are dozens of locations with flexible vaccine appointments available.

Homebound Veterans

Gov. Ron DeSantis has directed the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Division of Emergency Management to coordinate with the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs to identify veterans of World War II and the Korean War who are unable to travel to receive a vaccine.
